I am ready to move my studio out of my home and into a building all it’s own!  I have finally picked one out and look forward to having it built – someday.  Every single dime I can save will be going towards this project and I hope to have it complete in 12 months or less (hopefully less!!)  This would be a HUGE step for me - I am super excited and looking forward to reaching my goal!

Cute as a Cupcake!

You ask – what’s your favorite thing?  I respond – Caboodle Cupcakes!!!  Located on 7th Street in Terre Haute, IN – I enjoy stopping in for the flavors of the day when I am in town!  Today, I picked up Key Lime, Vanilla with Caramel Filling, and Butterscotch!  You can follow them on Facebook! While I was there, I also found an adorable new prop – a handmade cupcake hat complete with an adorable cherry!  So, when I love something, I photograph it!  Here’s the result….click images to enlarge.

Surgery Update – When I will be back in action!

 

I am healing very well – still have some issues with fever, pain and discomfort, but I am progressing well!  I return to the surgeon tomorrow for my 1 week follow-up appointment.  I hope that she can shed some light on when I can get back into the swing of things at 100%!!  Let me tell you what, I am itching to get started up again, not taking pictures is killing me! haha  I am not the type to sit idle!

I have been able to do some work from my iPad while I have been down – 3 more sessions booked and a wedding in August!  I am so excited!  No surgery can keep me down!

I will post an update as soon as I know a date of when I will re-open my studio.  Thank you to all for your thoughts, prayers, and for your patience while I go through this!

Bouncing Baby Boys!

Today I was blessed with back to back baby sessions of 2 adorable baby boys and their parents!  They were a lot of fun to photograph, both had gorgeous eyes and features – I LOVE MY JOB! :)

On Location – the sights and sounds
